BREAKING: Boko Haram strikes again in Maiduguri as explosion leaves 15 dead


Barely two hours after an bloody attack was reported in Ngamdu village, about 100 km away from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, an explosion has rocked Maiduguri Monday Market killing 19 people and injuring many.

The earlier attacked led to the death of about 15 people.
The attackers are suspected to be members of the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
Boko Haram members have attacked Ngamdu for a fourth time since the beginning of this year killing an estimated number of 73, destroying half of the village.
DAILY POST gathered from locals that more than 70 percent of the youths in the village have joined Boko Haram.
They, too, have joined the sect to attack their own village even urging some of their relations to join the ‘holy war’.
A security source along the Maiduguri-Kano highway told DAILY POST correspondent that the attack commenced at about 11:30 am Tuesday.
Many of the injured were rush to a hospital in Damaturu.]
Security operatives from Damaturu and Maiduguri have been deployed to the village to forestall further attacks by Boko Haram.
The latest attack on Maiduguri Monday Market came three days after an explosion killed 14 people.
DAILY POST report that last Saturday’s attack was part of coordinated bomb explosions that shook the town.
